Pasta Groove’s Give Bearth

Posted by Erwin Romulo at June 19th, 2009

UNO favorite Pasta Groove has a new video up online for the opening track of his album, The Distinktive Sounds of Pasta Grooove. Conceived/cut/reworked by his alter ego Paolo Garcia, it’s pretty much the perfect companion to the the sound of PG, sampling various media including footage from LVN Pictures’ classics such as Kundiman ng Lahi and Mutya ng Pasig, Ishmael Bernal’s debut feature Pagdating sa Dulo, Gerry de Leon’s drive-in classic The Blood Drinkers and more. On the track itself, the music features an array of musicians including Malek Lopez, Allen Umali and Armi Millare among others.

Editor-at-Large Luis Katigbak reviews the album as one of the best albums released so far this year in our June issue with Celine Lopez on the cover.
