A favorite PJ Harvey track.
I write a mini-tribute to it in the July issue of UNO with Lorraine Lapus acting as a sort of a stand-in or visual point to my ramblings. (Photographed by the Notorious Shawn Yao). There are two versions of the song available on record: the first was on the album of the same title (produced by Steve Albini) and the second was actually the demo. The latter featured only Harvey playing and recording it on a 4 track. Both are worthy of your attentions. Magnificent, muscular music from one of the best songwriters out there.
