ON THE COVER
Very special thanks to Rhian Ramos and Gaby Dela Merced, for being our cover subjects for this special issue, and helping us in our continuing efforts to call for justice for the murders of Alexis Tioseco and Nika Bohinc. Rhian was glad to be of help, and described their deaths as “a tragic loss.” And as Gaby said of Alexis and Nika in her interview, “They both lived to make a difference, but it’s our turn to make our own contribution.”

do these people actually know him? it would be nice and more meaningful if they did, otherwise it just seems like they’re just trying to get on the cover…
is this really the cover for the next month cause if it is wow i know you guys mean well but this cover made it an obituary issue?! it actually made me upset about what happened to yer friends…
@so sad not an obituary issue. grab a copy and go through everything and tell us what you think. a men’s lifestyle magazine has never done anything like this before.
the issue goes through a “wish list” of things Alexis loved and we tried to put everything on that list in this issue.
@caris read the editors note. Alexis and Nika were very good friends of the editors. Alexis contributed to UNO. it is a very intimate issue.

@ jayvee ,well as in “they” i was reffering to the covergirls. I am well aware of his involvment in uno
so is this the real cover for the print next month or this is just for the website?
I think it’s less important whether the women in the cover were friends of alexis and nika. Demanding for justice is the concern of everyone. I’m just glad that a men’s magazine has actually done something like this for once even if the circumstance for such an issue is truly a tragic one.
